Tijdens mijn jeugd op biologische boerderijen ontdekte ik welke potentie er verscholen ligt in de aarde onder onze voeten. Mijn liefde en nieuwsgierigheid voor buiten werken heeft mijn opleidingen vormgegeven en bracht mij uiteindelijk bij duurzaam bodem beheer. Tijdens mijn studiejaren heb ik niet stil gezeten en mij verbonden met projecten in het binnen en buitenland.
In toekomstig werk hoop ik bij te dragen aan de zoektocht naar, en de ontwikkeling van, duurzame vormen van land beheer, natuur herstel en voedsel productie.
Growing up on organic farms in the Netherlands made me start to discover the potential of the earth beneath our feet. I experienced hands-on how the soil can provide us with healthy and delicious food.
My love and curiosity for the outdoors shaped my education and brought me to soil science and land management. During those university years I could not sit still and used my free time to take on different study related projects in the Netherlands and abroad.
In future work I hope to contribute to the search to, and development of, sustainable ways of land management, nature restoration and food production.
